Reading comprehension and confident writing
Practise understanding a passage, explaining ideas and organising sentences into clear writing.
YEARS 1–6 · Strong foundations
Positive, engaging support that helps younger learners master essential skills and enjoy making progress at school.
Program overview
Lessons follow each child's actual learning level and build capability step by step—not simply by age or year level.
Our tutors first establish what the student understands, where support is needed and what they want to achieve. Lessons then combine explicit teaching, guided practice and independent application, with regular feedback to make progress visible.
What we focus on
For children in Years 1–6 who need support with reading, writing or maths, or are ready to build on what they already know.
Practise understanding a passage, explaining ideas and organising sentences into clear writing.
Build confidence with number facts, calculations and explaining the steps used to solve a problem.
Break a task into manageable steps and make room for questions, so children can practise with greater independence.
