Super Tutors is at 14 Montrose Street, Hawthorn East VIC 3123, a short walk from Auburn Station in Melbourne's inner east. Lessons are also available online, so students outside Melbourne can join the same classes live.
Super Tutors covers Years 1 to 12. That means primary literacy and numeracy, secondary English, mathematics and science, VCE Units 1–4, and the IB Diploma at both Standard and Higher Level. Mathematics support includes Mathematical Methods and Specialist Mathematics.
Both. Private tutoring gives a student full attention and a pace set entirely by their goals or knowledge gaps. Small-group classes are structured and collaborative, with time to discuss, practise and ask questions. Many families use a mix of the two.
Both. Students can attend the Hawthorn East centre in person, or join a live online lesson from anywhere. Online lessons are taught in real time by the same tutors, not pre-recorded.
Yes. VCE teaching follows the current VCAA study designs for Units 1–4, working through the key knowledge, skills and outcomes each subject is assessed against. Lessons cover SAC preparation and exam technique alongside subject content.
Yes. IB Diploma support covers Standard and Higher Level subject content, internal assessments, Extended Essay guidance and Theory of Knowledge thinking, as well as preparation for the final examinations.
Tutors are chosen for deep subject knowledge and the ability to explain ideas clearly, with more than ten years of teaching experience across the team. Senior tutors specialise in particular subjects rather than covering everything, so a student works with someone who knows their course well.
Matching starts with the subject, the student’s current level and what they want to achieve. Tutors first establish what a student already understands and where support is needed, then set the pace from there rather than from year level alone.
